Recap: Harlem Huskies vs. Boylan Catholic Titans

The Harlem Huskies lost against the Boylan Catholic Titans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Harlem ended up on the wrong side of a tough 49-28 walloping at the hands of Boylan Catholic. Harlem has not had much luck with Boylan Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Boylan Catholic was led to victory by Alayna Petalber and Lilian Esparza. Petalber scored 15 points, while Esparza dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Esparza is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Gianna Marinaro was another key contributor, scoring six points.

Harlem has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-16 record this season. As for Boylan Catholic, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 24-6.

Harlem will head out on the road to face off against Guilford at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Guilford's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Harlem has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. Boylan Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
