Shaurya Jain turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Gunderson back in February of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Jain has become a key player for Harker: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 1-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Jain and Harker will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against South San Francisco at 5:00 p.m. The last time Jain duked it out with the Warriors (back in March), the Eagles came out on top by a score of 5-3.
