Baseball Recap: Nutley Comes Up Short

The Maroon Raiders fell just short of the Columbia Cougars by a score of 5-4 on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the Maroon Raiders' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Nutley now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Columbia, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6.

Nutley has already played their next game, an 8-5 loss against Bayonne on the 3rd. As for Columbia, they will face off against West Essex at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
