Baseball Recap: Bishop Blanchet Comes Up Short

Bishop Blanchet was the 7-0 winner over Ingraham when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears came up short against the Rams on Friday, falling 8-1. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly seven runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Bishop Blanchet and nudges their season record down to 7-6. As for Ingraham, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bishop Blanchet will take on rival Ballard at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Ingraham is set to face off against their familiar foe West Seattle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 1.9, West Seattle 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
