Basketball Recap: Kamehameha Hawai'i Takes a Loss

Kamehameha Hawai'i and Punahou squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Kamehameha Hawai'i had to settle for second. They took a hard 67-53 fall against the Punahou Buff n' Blue. The Warriors have struggled against the Buff n' Blue recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Kamehameha Hawai'i's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Punahou, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season.

Kamehameha Hawai'i does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Punahou, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against University Laboratory School at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Punahou knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully University Laboratory School likes a good challenge.
