Volleyball Recap: Bad Axe Falls Short of Cass City in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bad Axe can now relate to. They fell just short of the Cass City Red Hawks by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Red Hawks this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat back in October.

Leading Cass City to victory were Lydia Hartzell and Grace Rockwell. Hartzell had 21 digs and four aces, while Rockwell had 17 digs. Those 21 digs gave Hartzell a new career-high.

Bad Axe's loss dropped their record down to 27-18-2. As for Cass City, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-9-2 record this season.

Bad Axe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cass City has already played their next contest (against Lakeville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
