Providence Christian came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Opp Bobcats. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While Providence Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-8, 25-22.

Providence Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Opp, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

Coming up, Providence Christian will head out on the road to face off against JAG at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Opp, they will face off against Northside Methodist Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
