Volleyball Recap: Delavan-Darien Starts Season with Victory at Home

Delavan-Darien gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Williams Bay Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-12.

Delaney Stallings was the offensive standout of the match as she had 12 digs and five assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season.

Delavan-Darien was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Williams Bay only served six aces.

Delavan-Darien has already played their next game (against Portage), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Williams Bay also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Clinton.
