On Friday, Seven Rivers Christian had to settle for second even though Michael Johnston put up the best numbers he has all season. Johnston dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. The performance marked the most points he has had since back in November of 2023. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Johnston and Seven Rivers Christian will square off against St. John Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will pit Johnston up against the Saints' star point guard Joel Durran.
