Basketball Recap: Montgomery Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Anson on Tuesday, Montgomery Central came back down to earth. The Timberwolves were dealt a 48-13 loss at the hands of the Wheatmore Warriors on Thursday. The Timberwolves were down 36-12 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Montgomery Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery Central will welcome Union Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wheatmore, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against East Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
