Basketball Recap: Hayden Walker and Brailyn Tullous Secure Win for Jacksboro

Jacksboro hadn't done well against Bowie recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Jacksboro Tigers snuck past the Bowie Jackrabbits with a 48-43 win. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Jackrabbits back in December of 2024, they had to take a 44-42 loss.

Leading Jacksboro to victory were Brailyn Tullous and Hayden Walker. Tullous went 10 of 18 on her way to 26 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals, while Walker dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. Those 26 points gave Tullous a new career-high. Savanah Hearn also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Jacksboro and bumps their season record up to 17-10. As for Bowie, they dropped their record down to 16-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Jacksboro has already played their next game (against Iowa Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bowie has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against City View.
