Basketball Recap: Mount Calm's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

If Mount Calm was feeling good fresh off their 71-48 takedown of Trinidad last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Mount Calm lost 62-41 to the Slocum Mustangs on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Mount Calm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-17 back in January.

The loss snapped Mount Calm's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-10 record. As for Slocum, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Mount Calm will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Coolidge at 7:00 p.m. Coolidge will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Mount Calm surely won't give up without a fight. As for Slocum, they will head out to challenge Penelope at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
