Cripple Creek-Victor took a 69-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of Moffat. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Deer Trail got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lance Reed out in front who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Mursal Hussein, who scored 14 points.
Cripple Creek-Victor now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Deer Trail, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Cripple Creek-Victor haven't given up the ball easily this season, having only averaged 0 turnovers per game.
