Front Range Christian dropped their record down to 10-6 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They took  a  6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buffaloes apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in April of 2024.
 Haedan Morton put in work no matter where he played. He  struck out ten batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and five unearned) runs off   seven  hits (and not a single walk). He is becoming a predictor of Front Range Christian's success: when he allows at  most one  earned run the team is 6-1 (and 4-5 when he doesn't). Morton was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Morton wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Landon Deza, who  went 1-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
As for Bishop Machebeuf, they now  have a winning record of 7-6. The  win was a breath of fresh air for they as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Like Front Range Christian, Bishop Machebeuf also got a great game from a two-way player:  Jack Menke. Throwing,  Menke   pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Meanwhile,  Matthew Menke   tossed three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits. Jack has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. At the plate,  Menke  went 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI, while  Matthew  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI and two  doubles.
 Front Range Christian will take on Dawson School at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last four matchups. As for Bishop Machebeuf, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Dayspring Christian Academy  at 2:00  p.m. The Buffaloes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.3  runs per game this season.
