Baseball Recap: Hershey Takes a Loss

Hershey lost against Gettysburg back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2.

Grant Later made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Danny Nelson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Hershey's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Gettysburg, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Coming up, Hershey will challenge South Western at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gettysburg, they will take on West York Area at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 3.8, the Bulldogs 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
