Baseball Game Preview: Pine Valley Central Panthers vs. Frewsburg Bears

Pine Valley Central is 2-8 against Frewsburg since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Panthers will face off against the Bears at 5:00 p.m. Pine Valley Central has given up an average of 10.3 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pine Valley Central lost 16-3 to Salamanca on Monday.

Liam Bradigan was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Isaac Kelley also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, while Frewsburg put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama. The Bears came out on top against the Wolfpack by a score of 4-0.

Pine Valley Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Frewsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.

Pine Valley Central suffered a grim 21-7 defeat to Frewsburg in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
