Volleyball Recap: Crystal Springs Comes Up Short at Home Against Wesson

Crystal Springs unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Wesson Cobras on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Cobras: they've now lost seven in a row.

While Crystal Springs ultimately came up short, they really made Wesson work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-13, 25-22.

Wesson has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Crystal Springs will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bogue Chitto at 6:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Wesson, they will challenge North Pike at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
