Football Recap: West Laurens' Undefeated Season over After 14 Games + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, West Laurens couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 17-13 to the Jefferson Dragons on Friday. The game marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, West Laurens saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Leroy Mack picked up a sack and made 17 total tackles. JD Hogan's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Even if they lost, West Laurens' defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Jayce Blash got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The critical scores for Jefferson came from Darren Pinkard and Colton Grant.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Laurens fell to 13-1. As for Jefferson, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

As of now, neither West Laurens nor the Dragons have any future games scheduled.
