Volleyball Game Preview: Archbishop Riordan Crusaders vs. Westmoor Rams

After both having extra time off, the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders and the Westmoor Rams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Archbishop Riordan turned things around against El Camino last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Colts, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crusaders have posted since March 15th.

Archbishop Riordan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 27-29, 25-17, 25-21, 15-11.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Westmoor, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. Everything went their way against The Academy - San Francisco on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12, 25-14.

Archbishop Riordan's record is now 5-11. As for Westmoor, their record now sits at 5-7.
