Volleyball Recap: Highland Park Takes a Loss

If Highland Park was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of South St. Paul on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Scots fell just short of the DeLaSalle Islanders by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Scots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Islanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Highland Park actually scored more points across those five sets (107-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-20, 18-16.

Highland Park dropped their record down to 15-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for DeLaSalle, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

As of now, neither Highland Park nor the Islanders have any future games scheduled.
