For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Space Coast and Melbourne meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Vipers fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs. The defeat continues a trend for the Vipers in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 20-25, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Space Coast still got an impressive performance from Haley Cowling, who had 32 digs and two aces.

Melbourne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kamryn Simcox, who had nine digs and two assists.
