Basketball Game Preview: Clark Eagles vs. Westinghouse Warriors

The Clark Eagles will face off against the Westinghouse Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Clark is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since December 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Kenwood, falling 71-51. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Broncos are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Westinghouse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Taft.

Clark's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Westinghouse, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.

Clark might still be hurting after the 65-44 loss they got from Westinghouse when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Clark avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
