The Spartans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 victory over the Falcons on Thursday. The Spartans' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Marist got a massive performance out of Tizita Martin, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Sophia Lydon was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.
