Kobe Craig Goes Supernova in Damonte Ranch Win

Starting off the list is Damonte Ranch's Kobe Craig, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Craig rushed for 177 yards while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 145 rushing yards dating back to last season.

The victory (which was Damonte Ranch's third in a row) raised their record to 4-4. Craig and Damonte Ranch will challenge Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Galena Gets a Boost from Kermode in 51-6 Victory

Galena picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Colson Kermode. Kermode was unstoppable, throwing for 190 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.

On the year, Kermode has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 150 passing yards per game.

Joey Jamison Turns in Season-Best Effort

Damonte Ranch was led to victory by Joey Jamison, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jamison threw for 144 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 passes. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (seven) he has had since back in October of 2023.

This season, Jamison has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 70 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 35.26 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 75.88 passer rating.

Rounding off our Top Five is Angelo Macias of Carson. Macias rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making five total tackles.

For the season, Macias has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 57.1 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 27.13 rushing yards per game.
