It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Escalon had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Fairfield Falcons as they made off with a 30-7 win. Considering the Cougars have won four matches by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Escalon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Alex Jones and Ball. Jones also made four total tackles, which is notable because Escalon is 4-2 when he posts at least four total tackles, but 2-3 otherwise.
