Volleyball Game Preview: Mt. Shasta Bears vs. Modoc Braves + How To Watch

The Mt. Shasta Bears will challenge the Modoc Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Shasta will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Mt. Shasta had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Fall River on Thursday. The Bears blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. The Bears not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

Mt. Shasta never let Fall River on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Modoc suffered their biggest defeat since August 25th on Saturday. They came up short against Etna, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Braves couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Modoc was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Etna's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-22.

Modoc now has a losing record of 10-11-2. As for Mt. Shasta, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5-2.

Mt. Shasta was able to grind out a solid win over Modoc in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
