Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Phillipsburg

Phillipsburg had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Trego Golden Eagles. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Eagles, too.

Phillipsburg never let Trego on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21.

The win got Phillipsburg back to even at 9-9. As for Trego, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Coincidentally, Phillipsburg and Trego will both be playing Thomas More Prep-Marian the next time they take the court. The Golden Eagles will host the Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
