Baseball Game Preview: Fort Vancouver Trappers vs. Stevenson Bulldogs

The Fort Vancouver Trappers will venture away from home to square off against the Stevenson Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Vancouver is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Fort Vancouver barely beat Onalaska the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trappers were the clear victors by a 17-8 margin over the Loggers on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trappers.

Sebastian De La Cruz was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Billy Freeman, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.

Fort Vancouver always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Stevenson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against La Center, falling 24-0.

Stevenson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Fort Vancouver, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
