Soccer Recap: Cienega Comes Up Short

Cienega and Sierra Linda squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cienega had to settle for second. They came up short against the Sierra Linda Bulldogs, falling 5-2.

Cienega dropped their record down to 9-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sierra Linda, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.

Cienega does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sierra Linda, they will square off against Arizona College Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sierra Linda is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.
