Meanwhile, there's no place like home for McGregor, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against Cromwell on Tuesday as they made off with a 17-5 victory. The Mercuries' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

McGregor's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Deer River, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-10.
