Volleyball Recap: Albany Huskies vs. Chatfield Gophers
Albany had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Chatfield Gophers on Saturday. For the Huskies, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Gophers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.
While Albany won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22, 25-20.
Hannah Klein paced Albany's offense, picking up 20 kills. Klein got some help from
Ellery Ehresmann and her 35 assists. Ehresmann was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
