Soccer Game Preview: Pender vs. North Brunswick

The Pender Patriots will take on the North Brunswick Scorpions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Pender and four for North Brunswick.

Pender came up short against Heide Trask on Thursday, falling 10-1.

The Patriots' goal came courtesy of Brianna Behal, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for North Brunswick's offense. They lost 9-0 to Laney on Monday. While losing is never fun, North Brunswick can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 241st, while Laney are ranked 37th).

North Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Pender, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
