Basketball Recap: Scotch Plains-Fanwood Starts Season with Win Against Summit

Scotch Plains-Fanwood gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Summit Hilltoppers with a sharp 58-38 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Raiders have posted against the Hilltoppers since February 20, 2021.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will take on Rahway in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Summit and Cranford will compete for holiday cheer at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
