Football Game Preview: Annapolis Area Christian Eagles vs. Northern Virginia HomeSchool Centurions

The Annapolis Area Christian Eagles will challenge the Northern Virginia HomeSchool Centurions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Annapolis Area Christian came up short against Riverdale Baptist and fell 27-14. While the Eagles had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Crusaders 7-3.

Meanwhile, Northern Virginia HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 27-14 to Harvest Covenant.

Annapolis Area Christian will have to keep a close watch on Sheppard Jones and Donovan Dundon, a pair of players who had a big impact on Northern Virginia HomeSchool's prior game. Jones gained 178 total yards and a touchdown, while Dundon picked up 74 receiving yards and one TD. Dundon got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 58 yards.

Northern Virginia HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Annapolis Area Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
