Metro Christian never got on the board in their matchup last Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Holland Hall on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Dutch. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Metro Christian's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Holland Hall, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 13-8.

Looking ahead, Metro Christian will host Edison at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holland Hall, they will challenge Union at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
