Basketball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kaycee last Friday, Riverside came back down to earth. The Riverside Rebels had to suffer through a 75-28 loss at the hands of the Powell Panthers. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Powell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Riverside has already played their next contest (against Meeteetse), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Powell will take on Cody at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cody will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Powell surely won't give up without a fight.
