Basketball Recap: Lumpkin County Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Lumpkin County was the 63-39 winner over Fannin County when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. The Lumpkin County Indians took a 51-33 bruising from the Fannin County Rebels on Friday. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Lumpkin County's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6. As for Fannin County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Lumpkin County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Copper Basin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Fannin County and Gilmer will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on December 30th.
