It was a good run, but Lambert unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blessed Trinity Titans. The Longhorns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.

Blessed Trinity found their leader in sophomore Abby Woodward, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Woodward.

Lambert's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Blessed Trinity, their record now sits at 7-1.

Lambert has already played their next matchup (against Collins Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Blessed Trinity, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Pope on the 19th.
