Basketball Recap: Thurston Comes Up Short

Thurston lost against Tualatin back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Colts might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Timberwolves an easy 79-58 win. The Colts were down 62-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Thurston's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Tualatin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Thurston and North Medford will round out the year against one another at 7:30 p.m. on the 27th. As for Tualatin, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clackamas at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
