Softball Recap: North River Christian Comes Up Short

North River Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Fort Dale Academy on Saturday. The North River Christian Chargers fell 6-2 to the Fort Dale Academy Eagles.

North River Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Dice, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

North River Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fort Dale Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, North River Christian will be playing at home against Coosa Valley Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fort Dale Academy, they will take on Monroe Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Dale Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
