Volleyball Recap: Conway Falls Short Against Ranked Carolina Forest

Conway faced Carolina Forest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Conway was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Among those leading the charge was Erion Tabaku, who had 16 assists and two aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last four contests. Noah Pettijohn also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Carolina Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5-1 record this season.

Conway will welcome South Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carolina Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
