Once again, there are plenty of good high school football games for college fans to watch.

MaxPreps runs down the top high school football action for this week.

Each week MaxPreps breaks down the top high school football games that college football fans should know about — and where to watch them.

This week's selection features top recruits up and down the East Coast, and many of the top players on the West Coast.

FRIDAY

St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, N.J.) vs. DePaul Catholic (Wayne, N.J.)

When: 7 p.m. ET
Where: DePaul
Where to watch: MSGVarsity
Top committed recruits: Kareem Walker (Ohio State), Thiyo Lukasa (Michigan State), Quayshon Alexander (Nebraska)
Top uncommitted recruits: Robert Martin, Dorian Hardy

Not only is St. Joseph Regional a top producer of Division I talent, but it's also a bit of an NFL factory. Graduates currently playing on Sundays include Devin and Jason McCorrty, K'Waun Williams, Junior Galette and Steve Beauharnais. Hardy, only a sophomore, could have that pedigree. For DePaul, Phillips will carry the load on offense, but the team's offensive line and defensive line both boast impressive recruits.

Flanagan (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) vs. South Plantation (Plantation, Fla.)

When: 7 p.m. ET
Where: South Plantation
Where to watch: NFHS Network
Top committed recruits: Johnny Huntley (Colorado), Dredrick Snelson (Minnesota), Devin Gil (Michigan), Josh Metellus (Michigan)
Top uncommitted recruits: Devin Bush Jr., Stanford Samuels

This game features two teams whose talent has been raided by non-SEC programs. Flanagan already has two Michigan commits and could get a third in Bush. Snelson, an absolute steal for Minnesota, is an exciting playmaker. Samuels will line up at quarterback for Flanagan, but he is a future shutdown cornerback in college.

Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, S.C.) vs. Goose Creek (S.C.)
When: 7:30 p.m. ET
Where: Goose Creek
Where to watch: NFHS Network
Top uncommitted recruits: John Simpson, Javon Kinlaw, Dakereon Joyner

Simpson and Kinlaw, two of the state's top recruits, both line up at offensive tackle. According to the 247Sports Crystal Ball, Simpson appears to be in a serious Clemson-vs.-South Carolina battle, while almost all Crystal Ball predictions for Kinlaw point toward the Gamecocks. Joyner's ceiling is sky-high. He's been compared favorably to other Fort Dorcester stars who have gone on to play in the NFL.

Crespi (Encino, Calif.) vs. St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.)
When: 10 p.m. ET
Where: Cerritos College
Where to watch: Fox Sports Prep Zone
Top committed recruits: Sean McGrew (Washington), Marcus Moore (UCLA), Traveon Beck (Cal)
Top uncommitted recruits: D.J. Morgan, Wyatt Davis

One week after playing on ESPN, St. John Bosco is back on television. Head coach Jason Negro's squad is red hot after trouncing Central Catholic (Portland, Ore.) last week. McGrew could be a National Player of the Year candidate. It helps to run behind an offense line that looks like a college unit.

Serra (Gardena, Calif.) vs. Narbonne (Harbor City, Calif.)
When: 10 p.m. ET
Where: Narbonne
Where to watch: Time Warner Cable Sports Channel
Top committed recruits: Oluwole Betiku (UCLA), C.J. Pollard (USC), Khalil Tate (Arizona), DeVaughn Cooper (Arizona)
Top uncommitted recruits: Brandon Burton, Alex Akingbulu

Having a five-star recruit is an annual tradition at Serra, it seems. This year, the honor goes to Betiku, a defensive end who is still being recruited by the likes of Florida and Notre Dame. His teammate Pollard upholds the school's pipeline to USC.

SATURDAY

Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) vs. IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.)
When: 1 p.m. ET
Where: Bergen Catholic
Where to watch: The Bleachers
Top committed recruits: Shea Patterson (Ole Miss), Jarrett Guarantano (Tennessee), Saivion Smith (LSU), Malik Barrow (Ohio State)
Top uncommitted recruits: Isaac Nauta, Shavar Manuel, Josh McKenzie

This game features perhaps the premiere quarterback battle of the season in Patterson versus Guarantano. Bergen Catholic will need to execute flawlessly to derail the IMG express. Its star freshman, Josh McKenzie, is questionable for the game with a hip injury.
