Recap: John Marshall Lawyers vs. East Tech Scarabs
The John Marshall Lawyers's game last Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 56-13 victory over East Tech. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for John Marshall's ten-point performance the matchup before.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead John Marshall to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayleena Orozco, who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Orozco has scored at least 25% of John Marshall's points. Another player making a difference was Ariella Parrish, who scored 13 points.
John Marshall's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for East Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Marshall has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Campus International at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. East Tech will take on John Hay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
