Baseball Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short at Home Against St. John's

Freedom unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the St. John's Cadets on Wednesday, falling 16-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since April 30, 2024.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Freedom will square off against Chantilly at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. John's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop Ireton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Bishop Ireton has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
