Softball Recap: Lufkin Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Lufkin Panthers didn't have quite enough to beat the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns and fell 6-4. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lufkin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Hamshire-Fannett, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Coincidentally, Lufkin and Hamshire-Fannett will both be playing Hardin-Jefferson the next time they take the field. Hamshire-Fannett will host Hardin-Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Lufkin will host them at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
