Basketball Recap: Jefferson Falls Short of Chapin in the Playoffs

Jefferson and Chapin squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Jefferson had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 74-17 loss at the hands of the Chapin Huskies. The contest marked the Silver Foxes' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Jefferson has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-25 record this season. As for Chapin, the win was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 32-1.

Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chapin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against El Dorado at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th. Chapin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully El Dorado likes a good challenge.
