A well-balanced attack led Williamson over Citronelle in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Lions blew the Wildcats out of the water with a 57-5 final score. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-2.

Leading Williamson to victory were Alvin Dinkins and Todrick Withers. Dinkins threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes, while Withers rushed for 116 yards and one score on only ten carries. That's the most rushing yards Withers has posted since back in August of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Massey, who picked up 91 receiving yards and one TD.

Williamson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Oneal Thomas, Kenneth Brooks, and Jermaine McCree picked up one apiece. Ward was another major factor on D, making 16 total tackles (5.0 for loss).

The victory was the third in a row for Williamson, bringing their record up to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.7 points on average this season. As for Citronelle, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
