Basketball Game Preview: Cedar Springs Red Hawks vs. Catholic Central Cougars

Cedar Springs hasn't had much luck against Catholic Central recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cedar Springs Red Hawks will head out to face off against the Catholic Central Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Cedar Springs knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Catholic Central likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Cedar Springs didn't have too much trouble with Jenison as they won 55-40.

Meanwhile, Catholic Central put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Byron Center 43-24.

Catholic Central's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Cedar Springs, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Cedar Springs couldn't quite finish off Catholic Central in their previous meeting back in February and fell 54-52. Can Cedar Springs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
