Volleyball Recap: Arcadia Valley Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Arcadia Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Dexter Bearcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bearcats when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Arcadia Valley wouldn't go down easily and took Dexter into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking ten-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-23, 25-17, 14-25, 15-5.

Arcadia Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Farmington on the 3rd. As for Dexter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jackson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
