Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ramsay). They were the clear victor by a 17-2 margin over the Parker Thundering Herd on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on three straight.
Kennedy Simon looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, Ramsay let Kennedi Nichols-Ford and Maleah Cook run wild. Nichols-Ford scored three runs and stole Six bases. while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances, while Cook scored three runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most runs Cook has posted since back in April of 2024. Madison Bracy was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-2.
Ramsay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
